On February 28th 2014, Previse Skincare hosted an intimate lunch and Previse SkinCare session with Suzy Amis Cameron and some of her closest friends, at the MUSE School in California. The Muse School CA, was founded by Amis Cameron and her sister Rebecca Amis in 2005. The school was started with the concept to “Inspire and prepare young people to live consciously with themselves, one another, and the planet.”
The “Seed to Skincare” event was inspired by the school’s “Seed to Table” program, which teaches students to prep and cook healthy everyday meals at any age, while also providing basic food safety skills and the practicing of food preservation techniques along with other methods for recycling and reducing food waste.
All ingredients in the vegan dishes served at the event were harvested at the school by the children, and were also inspired by the ingredients in Previse Skincare’s all natural skincare line.
Previse Skincare teamed up with Suzy and the MUSE School to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Red Carpet Green Dress and launched their Red Carpet Skin Rescue Kit, with proceeds benefiting the MUSE School. Ingredients in Previse Skincare that were featured in the dishes include wasabi, rosemary, and mint.
New York Dermatologist and founder of Marmur Medical, Dr. Ellen Marmur was also on site at the event to facilitate questions that the group had about skincare, and skin care related issues. As a leader in skin cancer prevention, Dr.Marmur also discussed the benefits of using an all natural skincare line, along with the best ways to protect yourself against the threats of skin cancer and sun damaged skin.
How does Previse SkinCare’s mission align with the Red Carpet Green Dress and MUSE School CA.
